MEET THE TEAM

Tradeware Building Supplies has a small but tight-knit team of talented and hardworking individuals. Coming from different backgrounds, each person brings different experiences, talents, and interests to the job.

Mitch O’Mara

Mitch and his wife Leonie are the owners of Tradeware Building Supplies. As Managing Director, Mitch is involved in all aspects of their business. He has over 37 years of experience in the timber industry and what he doesn’t know about isn’t worth knowing.

Leonie O’Mara

Although much of her time is spent trying to keep Mitch under control, Leonie’s official position is over seeing accounts and administration. Leonie has been the happy voice at the end of the phone for over 18 years.

Dave Starling

Tradeware’s Building Supplies Site Manager is Dave and is primarily responsible for staff, stock control, purchasing, and helping Leonie keep Mitch under control. Dave has over 24 years of experience in the Industry.

Allison Kerr

Since 1998, Allison has been assisting Leonie with Tradeware’s accounting and finances. Allison has a wealth of technical experience with accounting and financial software and systems. While Allison shares her talents with several companies, the time she spends at Tradeware each week is critical to the company’s successful operations.

Brad Chalk

Since September 2013, we’ve been lucky to have Brad as our sales representative. He comes to us with over 39 years of accumulated knowledge of timber and hardware. Anything you need help with, from estimating sizes to deck designs Brad will be more than happy to assist you with your project.

David Evans

David joined us in May 2014 after moving with his family from New Zealand. He has been involved in the Building Industry for over 35 years in various roles and looks after Operations at Tradeware Building Supplies.

Tradeware Building Supplies is a privately owned business operating for over 23 years. Owner Mitch O’Mara has been in the industry for over 37 years. He had over 14 years of experience before establishing Tradeware & Southside Lattice, so he knew what the market needed. With wife Leonie’s support, they have built a successful business. Their vision, passion, and drive shaped the success Tradeware enjoys today.
