You can buy them as is! We can dress them down to a beautiful smooth finish on our Slabmaster, also stain and coat to your requirements.

The timber we source is salvaged from fallen trees due to Cyclones, Heavy Winds, Floods, etc. The trees are never cut down.If you are looking for something special, call or come down to our timberyard and take a look.
Our slabs are locally sourced from Australian hardwoods and pines. Thicknesses range from 30mm to 100mm, and widths available from 300mm to1500mm. Slabs can be up to 7.2 metres long. We are happy to cut them to whatever size you like.

MACKAY CEDAR TIMBER SLABS
Looking for a fabulous piece of MACKAY CEDAR timber for a kitchen bench or tabletop? We still have some of these beautiful Mackay Cedar timber slabs. The colouring of the true wood is a striking reddish orange with creamy sapwood. This timber is perfect for furniture, bookshelves, small and large tables, especially boardroom tables.

QLD Red Cedar is indeed rare & very sort after, especially by Unique Furniture makers . The Red Cedar we have is over 20 years old (dry) & was cut west of GYMPIE in Queensland. We have an amazing amount of Red Cedar Slabs in stock ranging from 25,50,75 & 100mm thick x up to 800mm wide x 4.2m long.
Main uses : Fine Furniture, Exquisite Shelving, Dining Tables, Coffee Tables and Mirror Frames. Carvers love to make Jewellery Boxes & Mantel Shelves over fire places with this timber.
