CUSTOM TIMBER MACHINING & PROCESSING
Tradeware offer a range of additional Timber Processing Services including; Cutting, Ripping and Resizing, Sanding, Dressing and Finishing. We can precision dock timber to the length you require, or dress it to exact dimensions.
If you require a particular size urgently, and we don't have it in stock, we can usually find a larger item which we can cut or dress to the size you require, meaning you don't have to wait for that order to come in...
We are also very proud of our 'Slab Master', which can dress and sand XOS posts and slabs to a beautiful smooth finish. We've been able to create some spectacular pieces of timber on this machine! Come down and check them out.
PRECISION DOCKING
Tradeware have a range of machinery which we can utilise to cut, shape or resize your timber to suit your requirements.
Our precision docking saw is large enough to accommodate almost every piece of timber in our yard. It can be set to ensure precise measurements and consistent multiple cross-cutting and docking.
When ripping (cutting down the length of a piece of timber) is required, we can choose from our industrial table saw or large band saw.
We also have a number of other saws around our yard including including a radial arm saw for quick sizing, drop saws, and a chain saw for quick docking to rough lengths.
...So whatever the job, we've got it covered.
Dressing
Our trusty Italian made, 4-headed planer can be used for dressing and sizing. The end result is a beautiful, smooth piece of timber at exactly the size you require.
This is the perfect option if you require a finished product in an unusual, or custom size.
Our standard hardwoods come up beautifully when run through the dresser, and the end result is a piece of timber unlike anything you will find at other timber yards.

We love this machine!
Put the cutting head on, and this machine can take even our biggest posts, and dress them to perfectly square.
Swap the head over to the sanding pad, and the finish is unbelievable.
We mostly use this machine on our Pacific Jarrah Feature Posts or on our slabs, but stay tuned as we have a few experiments planned to see what else we can do with this thing.
